ENTERTAINMENT SUGGESTIONS

WHISKEY SHIVERS

Austin funky with a little bit of Blue Grass!

Austin's Whiskey Shivers are bluegrass-fueled Americana for a generation that grew up listening to punk rock. This group of 20somethings plays banjos, fiddles and washboards at breakneck speeds while singing high, lonesome harmonies about love and video games.

Musical honesty is what brought together the ragtag group of string players from small towns around the country to Austin, TX, where Whiskey Shivers was formed when stand-up bassist Andrew VanVoorhees answered a dubious Craigslist ad from a man named "Bob" looking to form a bluegrass band. Today this ragtag band is an Austin hit!

JESSE DAYTON

Jesse Dayton is an American, Austin, Texas-based honky tonk and rockabilly artist, best known for his guitar contributions to albums by country musicians including Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson.

SUEDE

Explosive. Energizing. Electrifying. Outrageously Fun. These are often the words used to describe the sensation of Suede, a premier variety cover band also performing original music. See them light up the stage as an opening act in large-scale venues, wow a varied crowd at corporate events and utterly astound the audience in smaller, intimate venues.

SOUL TRACK MIND

Soul Track Mind has an original sound that blends soul, funk and rock with elements of R&B, blues, and jazz, and a message of inspiration in the relentless pursuit  of dreams.

ROXY ROCA

The Austin, Texas-based seven-piece band ROXY ROCA play deep into their southern roots evoking some heavy James Brown with a bit of rock and roll thrown in.

Roxy Roca band made their debut at an ACL Festival after-party, and the wait was worth it. Since that night, the buzz has spread quickly leading to more high-profile shows with B.B King, Tom Jones, and others.
